I’ve been totally annoyed and frustrated with the internet connection during this holiday season, and that’s all because of the damn quake in Taiwan. I’ve been wanting to blog and looking at the slow connection was really driving me insane! However, I am so glad that everything is back now (or kinda?) — although not 100% yet but at least I could load some pages (let’s hope at least I could post this one!)
So anyways, I’m back! and would like to wish everyone a happy new year! I didn’t actually get to make new year resolutions because every time I do that, doesn’t seem to work lol.. but I do have some plans for sure. I hope that 2007 will be the best year for VieCouture, or at least I intend to make it that way. I wanna thank you to all my sweet blogger/reader friends for being so supportive and loving! Let’s kick some ass everyone!!

Eyes have always been my weakness (eyes and smiles). One of the reasons why I fell fall in love with my bf is because of his eyes. They’re simply irresistible and I still got the goosebumps for every time he looks at me.

Scarlett Johansson is the bomb, there’s no doubt about that.
November issue of Allure magazine (OK, I know it’s a bit late, but what the heck, I’m still gonna post it anyways, just in case you girls missed out) gave us tips on getting the natural beauty of Ms. Johansson.
Using mostly bronze to give the fresh youthful looks, here are the specifications – she’s using copper eyeshadow, applied evenly from the lashline to just above the crease. For the eyeliner, purple is the color, gently apply them and smudge with q-tip for the soft look. Then, go for the shimmering copper bronzing powder to add the refreshing looks, and finally beige matte lipstick for the final touch.
Result? You can see it yourself.
Who could forget that little black dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s?
That couture black silk satin gown was designed by Givenchy and recently, it was sold at a Christie’s auction for US$807,000. This gown was specially designed by Hubert de Givenchy in 1961 for Ms. Hepburn and since then, it has become the signature style. This auction was organized to support the City of Joy, a humanitarian aid organization in Calcutta, India.

Eyeliner is probably the most important invention in cosmetic industry for me. I can’t imagine leaving the house without wearing one. Hell, sometimes I also wear them when I’m at home.. lol
Sometimes we do have problems determining what color of liner that suits our eyes, so here are some tips from the reputable source of fashion.
If you have Brown or Hazel eyes like Jessica Simpson does, everything from deep espresso to emerald green is for you. However, you can also try with rich navy and purple tones.
For the Green-Eyed beauty like Rachel McAdams, purple and warm browns would look super duper nice. Another shade that will look fabulous is the bronze copper. On top lashes, put on the rich metallic shade and add the final touch with a coat of green mascara.
Finally, for the Blue-Eyed girl (inspired by Reese Witherspoon), copper, gold and anything yellowish will make your eyes come alive. You may also rum the entire eye with a chestnut brown and then layer a 24 karat shadow on top.

OK, I think that Carmen Electra is hot, I mean I’m not too crazy about her but I surely like the style (and my boyfriend likes her boobs *rolls eyes* but then again, who doesn’t? lol..)
