Alina is one of the sweetest and friendliest people I’ve ever met online. We met a while back and hit it off instantly. This bubbly young lady is also super stylish, active and very feminine. My Kingdom for a Dress is the place where she confides her passion for dresses and shoes. Come take a look and get acquainted with this lovely girl!

1. How many dresses do you have right now?
Well, about 53 at the moment… but there’s no end in sight! : D

2. What’s your favorite type of dress?
I’m into chiffon dresses, ruffles and such.. Really elegant and flowy. Exaggerated shoulders and lots of black are also cool… so I really can’t decide! It’s all about the mood I’m in.

3. Where do you get your inspiration from?
I browse through fashion magazines like Vogue and InStyle, but other blogs are also a must-read for me. My favourites have to be Sea of Shoes, VieCouture (of course!) and Fashion Style Advice.

4. Tell us more about your blog!
Well, my blog started out as something to kill some time with.. and at first I only shared pictures of my daily outfits. Now I also share my make up routine and also plan on adding some art and advice on trends.

5. The most expensive thing you’ve ever bought?
I think my velvet and patent Celine pumps.. and my N. Peal cashmere cardigan.

6. If you have to choose between dress or shoes, what will it be and why?
That’s tough. I think I would choose shoes, because I already own so many dresses. And it’s mostly the shoes that make the outfit.

7. Advice in choosing the right dress to wear?
I believe there’s the perfect dress for everyone. Think about which part of your body you want to show off and then choose a dress. If you like your shoulders, opt for a strapless dress. If you want to show off your cleavage, take a dress with a deep v-neck, and so on. In the end, you should just feel confident and comfortable wearing it, because that’s what shows.

PS: Thanks for the lovely interview : )
