2012 Spring/Summer Trend: Printed Dresses

Prints were seen all over the Spring/Summer catwalks and from the loud to the understated there’s something to suit everyone. A simple, effortless way to wear this trend is with Asos dresses. Introduce a bit of fun and color back into your wardrobes with these top three prints:

Novelty Print
Inspired by Prada’s cartoon Cadillac print dresses, novelty prints are a huge hit this season. Favorites are fruit and tropical prints in vibrant, rainbow bright shades. For a more understated take on this trend, opt for navy or black with a small repeat pattern such as this pineapple print dress from Whistles. If you’re feeling brave, look out for eye-catching cartoon prints on t-shirt dresses.

Floral Print
This season there’s a floral print to suit every personality. Girly girls can choose between ditzy floral print and bold florals in pastel hues. Give Yourself a Red Hot Summer 2012

Bali has finally passed the rainy season. It is time to enjoy the sun and get some real tan. If there’s one color I can think of, it would be red, and today I was toying with the “lady in red” idea, but this time it’s not in a dressy type, it’s more of a casual and funky looking style, and I’m pretty satisfied with the result. Don’t you just adore that little Miu Miu bag and sexy Gucci shades? Those two have got to be my favorites. So what do you say? Ready to be the next red hot? ; )
