If there’s Paris Fashion Week, NY and Milan, we got the IFDC show on February 28, 2007. This prestigious fashion show is held annually to celebrate the Indo fashion. And this year’s show is definitely special because one of my best friends is crowned as the newest member and I was there to help him out. I finally get to know the backstage life.  It was really chaotic! lol..

There were 5 designers in total who participated in the show; Mr. Stephanus Hamy, Mr. Sebastian Gunawan, Ms. Liliana Lim, Mr. Didi Budiarjo and my dear friend, Mr. Rusly Tjohnardi.

My 2 favorite designers of the evening were Didi Budiarjo and without being bias, Rusly Tjohnardi.

Here are some of Didi’s collection that definitely caught my eyes. I was sitting right behind the VIP guests so you can imagine how enjoyable it was. Didi called his collection Phantasmagoria — A combination of Japanese gothic lolita, french with a little touch of Chinese and Korean. There were lots and lots of lace, feather, and fur around and you should check out their shoes! They’re insanely thick! I was totally impressed that the models could actually walk smoothly.

Anyways, it’s good to see the fashion world in my country improves so much. Hope you like them as much as I did.
