Following my report on last Saturday’s event, I would like to introduce Utama Spice. When I first walked into the venue, I couldn’t help but noticing a strong herbal scent. I don’t normally go crazy over herbal but this one is absolutely different. They were actually quite refreshing and very calming. Their little showcase was located in the middle of the pathway and it immediately caught my attention.

Bali is famous for its natural resources, and this inspired Utama Spice to be creative in turning them into something organic, fresh, healthy and pure. Based in Ubud, an area that’s known for its art, culture and well-being, Utama Spice was established in 1989 and incorporated in 2000. Having been in the aromatherapy industry for years along with careful researches, they manage to create only the best products from best ingredients — from body care such as soap, body butter, lotion, lip balm to essential oil and bug spray! Everything is made au natural to benefit our body (and soul).

I got the chance to try out their peppermint lip balm and to be honest with you, it wasn’t like anything I’ve tried before. It’s really soothing and the feeling lasts for such a long time! You can really feel (or taste) the real peppermint in that little tube and it cools off your pouts instantly. Mind you, it was a really hot day ; ) Besides peppermint, they also have cocoa, tangerine and well kiss (a blend of fresh citrus with virgin coconut oil).

Unfortunately I didn’t have the opportunity to meet the people behind the scene. However, I’m quite happy with their gorgeous presentation and of course, amazing products. For more information, feel free to check in here.
